“Álbum de Família” was the second partnership between Eid Ribeiro and Galpão. This production of a classic from Brazilian modern drama was a radical dive into the tragic, expressionistic world of Nelson Rodrigues. A scandalous portrait of a traditional middle class family, “Álbum de Família” won almost every theater award in Minas Gerais and marked a turning point in the company’s career only comparable to what would happen with “Partido.”
