Paulo de Moraes directs Pequenos Milagres (Small Miracles), adapting to stage four stories selected among about 600 accounts sent to Grupo Galpão in 2006 during the campaign Tell Us Your Story, created specifically to prepare for this new performance. The director and dramatist Maurício Arruda Mendonça pre-selected together with the actors 50 stories that they all considered the best and the most representative everyday life of Brazilian people.
Several workshops with the members of company have taken Galpão the final four accounts that make up Pequenos Milagres.
According to Paulo de Moraes, these stories make up a very particular theatrical overview of Brazilian life: “A project of this nature allows us to discuss relevant issues with characters that are close to us, pondering on the dreams of ordinary people,” he says.
